Tantric Healing: A Beginner’s Guide

Why are so many individuals interested in learning how to practice Tantra? In the last 40 years, it has become a massive phenomenon in the West. Unfortunately, the version of Tantra that has become extremely popular in recent years is a diluted version. Teachers who first allowed Westerners to learn Tantra thought they weren’t ready for the complete truth, so they devised a Tantra-lite version. It’s even been dubbed Tantra Zero by some.

Tantra is a spiritual path and a way of life, although it is often reduced to a sexual route in the West. Tantric practices are sexual approaches in the West. Tantric sexuality is Tantric practice in the West. In the West, “Tantra” mainly refers to Tantric sex. Tantra, however, is so much more!

The Right-Hand Tantra school of thought underpins Tantric Healing. The majority of devotional, chanting, prayer and ritualistic rituals fall under this ascetic branch. In a sense, it’s the merger of the female (Shakti, energy) and male (Shiva, consciousness) principles into Oneness. In conclusion, all components of the Universe are considered Divine in the Tantric perspective.

This puts Tantra at odds with many religions, which distinguish between the material world (profane, evil, filthy, and bad) and the spiritual world (pure, elevated, clean, and good). This is referred to as asceticism or the austere way of life.

To access the Divine, ascetic religions demand that people separate from the worldly world, their bodies, emotions, and brains. Of course, there have been mystic sects in every major religion disagreed with the ascetic method. Kabbalists in Judaism, Gnostics in Christianity, and Sufis in Islam have all used embodied practices to seek God. Ascetic authorities frequently punished these sects.

Tantra is an ancient Indian tradition derived from the Vedas. According to Tantra, we are totally made up of the Divine. The Divine manifests itself in our bodies, emotions, and brains. We can reach the Divine by going deep into any part of the material world, any experience, emotion, or thought.

Tantric Healing is founded on the notion that sexual energy is the most powerful energy that ordinary individuals can generate. If employed correctly, this energy can be used for personal healing, spiritual development, and as a portal to super consciousness-the Oneness. This higher energy is generated and held during Tantric Healing for a set number of breaths while focusing on a single idea. This single thought enters the subconscious mind and inward to the superconscious at a specific frequency alignment. And it is in this state that amazing things begin to happen, and people begin to have life-changing experiences. The main hurdle is noise in the human mind, as simple as that sounds. In a higher state of energy flow, this discourse keeps drawing us back into our physical bodies, re-connecting the conscious and sub-conscious bridge.
